Hello everyone out in jen bekman land! I'm Christine the intern! Jen has asked me to be the editor of the jenbekman.com blog, so that you lovers of all things jen bekman can be updated on gallery tidbits and happenings on a regular basis. But before I can start telling you all about the exciting things happening at the gallery, I'm told need to tell you more about myself. So here goes:

Hometown: Long Island, NY (not really a hometown, but its all the same anyway isn't it?)
Occupation: Student at NYU (studying Art History, Studio Arts and French), Business Manager of the Washington Square News; fabulous intern/newbie blogger.
Things I Like: contemporary art, baking bread, soup, visiting museums and galleries, collecting cookbooks, coffee, peppermint tea, my french press, anytime its not raining in NYC, thrift stores, dark chocolate, wearing my mom's old clothes, earrings, sleeping in, traveling, french bulldogs.
Things I Dislike(alot): carrying large pieces of foam core through SoHo on windy days.

I am Currently listening to: Jenny Lewis and The Watson Twins, Rabbit Fur Coat.
Future Plans: Graduating in May, finding a job, planning a trip to Europe.
