JBG's Christian Chaize is featured in the June issue of Blink magazine with both a short interview on his practice as well as a photo spread.
When asked, what does his popular series Praia Piquinia mean, Christian gave some insight into the often tongue twisted title:
Praia Piquinia is what I heard phonetically when the Portuguese spoke about this area. But the correct spelling is not this at all. However, I continued to call it this way because it could represent some imaginary place. This mysterious place which does not exist on a map.
