Jen Bekman artists Beth Dow, Colleen Plumb, and Youngna Park have been invited to participate in Stuart Pilkington's latest project, The Chain. Previously the curator of two similar online projects. The Alphabet Project and The 50 State Project, Pilkington divised The Chain to bring together an internationally diverse group of photographers. An experiment in collaborative creativity, The Chain explores what happens when an artist conceives of a piece on the basis of another artist's instructions. In February 2011, each photographer received a title or an instruction from another photographer and in turn provided the title or instruction for a subsequent photographer. By June 18, 2011, the photographs were submitted and published on The Chain website.

In addition to these three artists represented by Jen Bekman, Amy Eckert, whose work is currently on view as part of Jen Bekman's summer exhibition, "Dawn Till Dusk," was also invited to participate in the chain.
